RH vs SH Handball (M) Finals Final Score: 20-21

Our team entered the courts with full confidence, looking determined and focused, having won the Semi-finals match against Eusoff Hall on Monday. Hoping to do the same for this match, our team members pumped themselves up moments before the match and supporters from RH streamed in, filling the air with their cheers for their hall mates. Handball (F) Semi-final: RH vs TH 9-10

As the decider for a spot in the finals that would take place on Saturday, this match was a highly anticipated one, especially after EH trumped TH by a point in their group match meeting. EH had already secured a place in the finals with their victory over KE and in the first match of the night, so the RH-TH match had a substantial number of spectators from EH and, of course, greater numbers from TH and RH. Having won the previous game against KR with relative ease, our handball team went into the semifinal game with the full confidence that we’d have no problem winning the game against Eusoff. This was not the case as anybody who was there to witness the match could probably testify to a competition filled with a collection of unnecessary forceful challenges and an unhealthy dose of thrash talking. With a signal from the referee, the handball match against Kent Ridge Hall officially started at 3:10pm. It was one of the few handball matches that weren’t delayed due to the recent rainy weather. Players representing Raffles Hall are Ceyi, Tommy, Jing Jie, Kasun Gunasooriya, Adrian Foo, Alex Liu, Yuan Yik, Johnson Li, Jason Ting, Jeremy Wong, Aaron Fu, Joseph Lee, and Chua Hong Shing.
